Water Treatment Plant
Under went a major upgrade in 2005. The Town of Bassano owns and operates this water treatment facility. Water is drawn from the EID canal which is fed by the Bow River. The raw water is stored in three reservoirs. Each reservoir holds 40 million gallons for a total of 120 million gallons. The water is stored and settled until required. The water is then brought into the plant, cleaned, disinfected and stored in two treated water reservoirs. Each reservoir hold 1/4 million gallons, for a total of 1/2 million gallons for distribution. With the recent upgrade a truckfill was added to the water treatment plant. The keypad fill station is available 24 hours per day. No coin operation at this location. To apply for an account, contact the Town Office. Utility billing is handled through the Town Office. 403-641-3788 Water Treatment Plant Operator: Jim Monti |
