Job Title: Seasonal Employment Crawling Valley Campground

Description: Campground Manager: Responsibility for campground maintenance of all area of the campground. Operating and maintaining of small equipment, supervision of staff. Assistant Manager: Assist Manager in his /her absence. Office Manager: Registering campers, processing transactions using the point of sale system and other duties as assigned. Supervision of office staff. Computer experience is required. Officer Support: Assist the office manager, registering campers, and processing transactions. Computer experience required. Grounds Keepers: Maintaining and cleaning facilities including showers, bathrooms, mowing, trimming. Assist campground manager to maintain the campground.

Job Title: Community Development Officer 
Closing Date: March 13, 2017 
Description: The Town of Bassano is currently accepting applications for a full-time Community Development Officer. The position will be reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and contributes to the goals, values and success of the Town. The Community Development Officer will provide leadership through community involvement that promotes well-being, while understanding the social and environmental health of the local economy. Duties of this position will include: • Develop strategies to further economic, tourism and community economic goals; • Develop networks and partnerships with business and community organizations; • Develop media and communications plans; • Complete duties of a Development Officer; • Creation of resource materials and website development; • Ability to write grants; • Event planning and promotion;  
Qualifications: Position requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing or combination of education and experience; • Minimum of 2 years working experience in community and economic development, marketing and public relations leadership skills; • Ability to identify and promote community economic development initiatives; • Effective verbal, presentation and listening communication skills; • Excellent written communications skills; • Effective negotiation and mediation skills; • Time management skills and ability to prioritize; • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task; • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe; • Valid Driver’s License • Criminal Record Check is required Salary will be based on education and experience. This is a one year contract position with the possibility of extension.
