WELCOME TO BASSANO!
On behalf of the town Council and the citizens of the Town of Bassano, I extend a warm welcome to our wonderful Town website. We hope your visit is a pleasant one and we will encourage you to return on a regular basis. Our town is quite self-sufficient and provides a wide range of services. Bassano is a warm and friendly atmosphere and offers a multitude of clubs and organizations which makes this a safe community to reside. We are proud to have a School -K-12, Hospital, RCMP, Lodge and Airport. Recreational opportunities in season you will find artificial ice skating arena, curling rink, swimming pool, 9 hole golf course, bowling alley, seniors centre, ball & soccer fields, rodeo grounds, in town camping ground and the famous Bassano Dam.
Bassano is located off the TransCanada Highway half way between Calgary and Medicine Hat and about 30 minutes west of the City of Brooks. Next time you're traveling down Highway #1, stop in for a visit. We would love to see you.
